1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces?
I selected the three inspiration pieces because each one had something interesting to me...
#1 "Self-Portrait Taking Selife in Sacra Conversazione (Holy Conversation)" of Barbara Hart taking selfie of herself . That is me every time I'm feeling pretty, dolled up! So I can relate along with many others.
#2 Jack Edson inspired me just because I love quilts and the beautiful colors and patterns inspired me. It looked peaceful.
#3 Gary L. Wolfe inspired me with his circular self because it was an extreme close up with much detail.

2. Why did you select the media to create your self-portrait?
I selected a pencil and colored pencils because I feel like it is the easiest tool for me to draw with.

3. What challenges did you face in creating your self-portrait and how did you overcome them?
The challenges I faced creating my self-portrait was making sure I made it look like me. I overcame this challenge by taking my time drawing my selfie.

This piece represents me because I am known for always being dolled up.
5. What elements and principles of art did you apply in this work?
The elements I used were line, color, and texture. The principles I used were was pattern.
6. Did you enjoy working on this project?
Yes, I enjoyed drawing myself because I never tried to before.
7. What do you think of your final artwork?
I think my final artwork turned out better then I expected, I love it!
